Resources Book 5 - The Memory Book for studying the N3 JLPT test

The Memory book is a guide for how to memorize information. As kanji is a primarily a memory skill and as westerners we have little experiencing in memorizing large amounts of information. We are lucky the English alphabet is so small but it is also a negative when it comesto  kanji because kanji is all memory. Layers of information. Like memorizing the Yellow Pages phone book. Memorizing is a key skill of kanji, the shape, the meaning, the on reading, the kun reading, the combinations, the exceptions, the vocabulary, the common four kanji combinations, etc. The Memory book allows us as self study learners acquire some basic tools to allow us to think about information in a different way. It also has some great tools for daily life outside studying kanji so that is a bonus as well. But it has a specific chapter on memorizing foreign words and characters. We need all the tips we can, memorizing kanji is no easy feat but one we must get over in order to pass the N3 JLPT test and beyond.
