N3JLPT# Grade 2 Japanese Kanji Shape and Meaning
Grade 2 Japanese Kanji has 160 characters and many more related meanings
In Grade 2 the number doubles from Grade 1 but the format and type is the same.We suggest as their are so many layers to learning kanji you take it one layer at a time. Start by watching the video and getting familiar with the shape and the meaning and then go on to learn the ON yomi and once you have mastered them then go onto Kun yomi.If you have ever read a Japanese textbook or attended a Japanese class they either don't teach you or teach you them all at once in a jumble or just teach you kun and no on readings, neither method is good for non native speakers. You can't afford a jumbled approach, so take it easy in small layers. Master each layer slowly.
