This post we introduce the stroke index and how to use it to look up kanji that you don't know when studying for the N3JLPT test. As you study you will come across many kanji that you don't know and so you need to quickly learn effective ways to lokk up, find and learn new kanji. It is a very important study skill for the N3 JLPT test, particularly for western learners with no prior kanji experience. Where kanji is seen more of a mountain climb to Everest than for other Asian learners with a kanji background.

Remember that when you learn Japanese you pretty much have to teach yourself everything, no free ride here, it is still an undocumented language. Even if you go to a language school you don't get everything you need!!!!!!!
