Its 2012, start the new year with a goal to study and sit for the n3 jlpt test!

Start the year with a good study goal and if your serious about getting n3 jlpt this year, it is a very good time to start. Step 1 Make a list of what you know, what you don't know, and what you need to know, step 2 survey your resources and make a list of things that you need for the n3 jlpt, for example, new textbooks, new test guides, a new canon wordtank japanese dictionary, a kanji dictionary, a romaji japanese english dictionary, a magnifying glass for looking up kanji  (some dictionaries print so small, your eyes feel like they are shrinking) and what ever else you need, past jlpt tests, eg, level 2 test and CD and also for when you have finished all your study and about one month before the test you will need n3 test guides to help you to practice and to concentrate and test what you have learnt. We have reviews of textbooks, videos of how to use a canon word tank, how to use a kanji dictionary and also how to get kanji by grade into your head, new, this year kanji by grade!

Step 3 You will need to set up your study. A place where you can sit and study undisturbed veryday until the JLPT, yes, every day. Japanese study is serious and you really need to study everyday to keep your memory, momentum and to get through all the material and let me tell you, there is a lot! There is no official test guide, because if they should you all the work you have to do in advance you would never start. Lets say that memorizing the yellow pages telephone books for a major city would be close to what you need to get through to be ready for the test, we are not kidding!

N3 JLPT is a serious test and requires serious study, are you up for the challenge? If you are not it is ok we are not upset. We are just trying to prepare you for the journey ahead. It is no theme park ride. In fact it will be one of the most complex, challenging and difficult things you will do.

But we are confident that if you start now, have good resources, study every day, review, ask questions and keep getting through all the material, grammar, sentence patterns, new kanji, vocabulary, adjectives, giseigo, set phrases, counters, verb conjugations, test questions, all the joyo kanji, shape, meaning, on and kun, then you will have a shot at the holy grail, passing N3 JLPT!!!
